Simba padded out of the leaders den and smelled the fresh air. The smell of dew filled her nose.

Graystripe stepped into the clearing from the hunter's den. The morning was cool and smelled good. He noticed Simba coming out of the leader's den. He walked past the kill pile and watched Simba walk across the clearing.
